HomeSchool Memoirs: Agendas

August 16, 2008 By HSBA

It was really fun to get to meet all of you last week, and I’m so glad you all decided to join us! I know that the Homeschool Memoirs is only going to get more exciting and encouraging as each week goes by and new homeschoolers join us! I hope you were able to “get out” and meet a few new friends and be encouraged. I know I did and found a couple interesting blogs to re-visit.

This week’s theme is about sharing your 2008-09 homeschool agendas and plans. You’ve been preparing your plans for some time and you’re ready to go. Or you’re still in the planning-stage and need some inspiration or tips on what to use. Because many use different curriculum and methods there is always something new to be gleaned from other homeschoolers.

It’s always fun and interesting to see what other’s are using and the Robin Sampson suggests. So this week I hope you will share what you’re doing this year for your homeschool Blog Awards agenda. Share the different curriculum you’re using. You can also include what age/grade you’re using it for, how long you’ve been using it, and why you like it.

Again, please enter in your DIRECT link to your HM post and not just your blog link. When others go back to look at the themes they will be able to go directly to your post rather than just your front page

Because I’m not yet a homeschooling Mother I really can’t share my homeschool agenda with you. However, I’m going to send you over to my Mother Dear’s blog so you can read her homeschool agenda! I do know she has some great stuff planned for this year, and I hope I can accomplish what I need to as this is my senior year of high school.

I love to plan. I am a planning queen. It is the follow-through that sometimes gets me! No, not really. We all need to have a little bit of latitude to change plans midstream and do what works, right? My biggest problem is not planning or even follow through, it’s remembering I actually have a plan, and that I can follow it if I get it out.

I realized yesterday that there is a reason all my planning items are on the table and the floor… I need a desk to put it all there for me to work at!
